For myself it all started when I visited my family in the Philippines during the summer before gr.8. Now before this I liked basketball a bit. It wasn't a passion of mine or anything but I would toss the ball up in hopes of it falling through the rim. To pass time, my cousins would take me out down to a little rundown court they'd play on. After living with them for a couple of months, I fell in love with the game. Making the gr.8 team only increased my feelings for this sport. It became a passion of mine and I made many friends who share this passion. Basketball truly is one heck of a sport
