The Indy Dreams is a Fastpitch Softball Organization founded in 2001 for the purpose of developing hardworking young ladies into great softball players. The fundamentals of the game along with the importance of school learning have been the cornerstones of the organization. Since the beginning, the Indy Dreams have assisted numerous players in their endeavor to be able to play softball at the collegiate level. Many former Indy Dreams players have gone onto playing at the collegiate level and have been able to use their skills in the game of softball to help earn a college education via scholarships. The Indy Dreams have competed across the nation at a very high level with numerous top 10 finishes in several national championships throughout the years. To be able to compete at this level, our players at the younger age groups are taught the fundamental skills of the game. The development of the team as a unit is the first objective to achieving the individual goals. The goal of every coach in the Indy Dreams organization is to provide each player the opportunity to showcase her skills and to identify opportunities to play softball at the collegiate level the player desires.
The Indy Dreams are proud to announce their new sponsor, LIDS© Team Sports, along with their new home at Grand Park in Westfield. The organization will be changing its name to be known as LIDS© Indiana Dreams. Since 1991, LIDS© has been a proud sponsor of Indiana’s premier youth travel baseball organization, the Indiana Bulls. The Indiana Dreams are thrilled to join with LIDS© to be the softball organization to the Indiana Bulls. Grand Park will be the home of the LIDS© Indiana Dreams. It has 26 fields with 8 lighted turf fields. By combining with LIDS©, the Indiana Dreams will continue to be able to help young ladies achieve their goal to play at the collegiate level. The LIDS© Indiana Dreams will be able to get the exposure every player needs to be seen and will allow every player the opportunity to showcase what they can do.
The 2014/2015 Tryouts for the LIDS© Indiana Dreams will take place on August 2nd and August 9th, 711 East 191st Street, Westfield, Indiana. Age group times are listed as follows:
9 am to 1 pm 10u and 12u eligible players
1 pm to 5 pm 14u, 16u, and 18u eligible players
Tryouts will be hosted on multiple fields.
A fee of $20 per player will be assessed.
Tryouts for the 8u team will be held on July 31st from 6 pm to 8 pm at Grand Park.
The 8u team will be coached by Chad Poeck.
No tryout fee will be assessed for the 8U team.
Please plan on arriving 15 to 30 minutes in advance for check-in.
