IG Davenport is happy to announce that Allie Chenault has joined the team and will fill the position of head coach. Coach Chenault is a recent graduate of the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Having verbally committed to ULL at the end of her freshman year, she brings a wealth of knowledge of the recruiting process as well as the game. Please see her bio below.
Tryouts will be held Saturday, August 16th at 9am Field 1.

As a senior, led the Bulldogs to an undefeated District Championship while posting a 28-5 record in the circle ... Was named Second Team All-State ... As a junior led her team to the District Championship and was named First Team All-State and First Team All-County after going 36-4 while posting a 0.21 ERA with 298 strikeouts and just 18 walks ... As a sophomore, was tabbed First Team All-District, Second Team All-County and Honorable Mention All-State while leading the Bulldogs to the Bi-District Championship ... As a freshman garnered Newcomer of the Year and All-County Pitcher of the Year honors ... Threw four perfect games and 11 no-hitters in her high school career ... Played summer select ball for the Texas Gold Sessum.
